Aldi’s outdoor toy range includes a playhouse and ride-on cars

ALDI is launching a sale of outdoor toys for kids this week - and the selection includes a wooden play house and a ride-on JCB.

The items officially hit stores on Thursday May 14, but some of the products are already available to pre-order from Aldi's website.

The ride-on JCB is £19.99 and features a horn to beep and storage under the seat so kids can bring their favourite toy along for the journey.

It is only available from Aldi's website and won't be in stores.

Meanwhile, the playhouse is £174.99, and includes a slide, lookout deck and wooden ladder.

You will have to assemble it yourself, and again, it can only be bought online and won't be in stores.

It looks like quite a good deal: the cheapest similar playhouse we've found is in Argos for £190.

There is also a selection of swings, including a rope ladder and a trapeze, which are also part of the Aldi promotion, costing £5.99 each.

These aren't currently available online, but will be in stores from Thursday.

You can also buy a swingball set for £19.99, and gardening sets containing mini tools and plant labels for £6.99.

Delivery costs £2.95 for orders worth less than £20, or it is free for orders worth more than £20.

Aldi says delivery currently takes between three and 10 days, and be aware that if you order some of the products today, they may not be dispatched until Thursday when the promotion officially starts.
